About Me

Happy Hounds Dog Walking

Welcome to Happy Hounds Dog Walking & Drop-in Services!

My name is Charlotte and I am a fully qualified (including Canine First Aid & CPR), insured and DBS-checked dog walker specialising in solo and small group walks in the Plymouth area, plus drop-in home visits for all pets for your peace of mind.

I primarily cover the PL6, PL5, PL3 and PL20 areas of Plymouth and Yelverton, but please do get in touch if you are just outside of these areas as I may be able to help.

After 20 years of working in Marketing and Education, I decided that I should combine my love of dogs, the outdoors and keeping active! I love not being stuck behind my desk, and that every doggy day is different.

I feel so lucky to live in Plymouth, with the beaches, moors and woodlands right on my doorstep. It really is doggy adventure heaven!

Why choose Happy Hounds?

Some feedback from our happy clients

Jane, Plymouth

"Charlotte was a god send when I had my hip operation. Maisie is such a high energy terrier, and whilst recovering I just wasn't able to give her the exercise she needed. Maisie was absolutely delighted to see Charlotte arrive each day to take her out, and she crashed out as soon as she arrived home. Happy and tired....exactly what I was looking for!"

David, Yelverton

"I'd never used a dog walker before contacting Charlotte so I was a little apprehensive. But she soon put me at ease and both dogs adored her instantly! Charlotte sends regular updates and photos so I can keep track whilst I'm at work. She comes highly recommended!"

Mr & Mrs Bate, Plymouth

“Our elderly dog is no longer able to go out and enjoy long walks, but whilst we are at work Charlotte drops in and lets her out into the garden for a toilet break, a mooch about, some fresh air and also tops up her water if needed. It breaks up the day for her and its reassuring to know that she's not stuck in the house alone all day”.
