About Us

I am based right at the edge of Plymouth, just a short drive from Dartmoor which is where I spend a lot of my spare time. I pride myself on offering a fun, friendly dog walking experience, where during those few hours I treat and care for your dog as my own.

I have two young children, and so dog walking offers me the perfect balance between work and being a busy Mum! My third child (!) is a very lively, completely bonkers Lakeland Terrier called Teddy. He is an absolute sweetheart, loves everyone and lives for his walks! You'll often see him joining me on walks with the gang....he's not one to miss out!

I cover the PL6 (Roborough, Derriford, Glenholt, Woolwell, Southway, Bickleigh, Maristow), PL5 (Crownhill and Tamerton Foliot), PL3 (Hartley, Mannamead and Higher Compton) and PL20 (Yelverton, Crapstone and Horrabridge) areas but may be able to help if you live just outside of these areas so please do get in touch.

I grew up on a farm with horses, cattle, sheep and chickens, and so looking after and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I find it very hard to sit still, walking is my relaxation, and so it seemed so obvious when I decided to change things up a bit and get away from the 9-5 behind a desk. Needless to say, I've never looked back! I have experience with both large breeds and small, from the sweetest of natures to the slightly more challenging.

There's no better feeling than the look of a dog who is absolutely delighted to see you when you turn up to take them out for a walk. I feel incredibly lucky to be entrusted with people's canine companions, and whilst in my care I treat them as if they were my own.

For your peace of mind, I possess Dog Walking qualifications plus Canine First Aid and carry a Pet First Aid kit with me at all times. If I have any concerns about your dog whilst in my care, I will contact you immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.

If your dog does not travel well in a car or van, I can also offer walks local to your home (parks and pavements). I appreciate that not everyone likes the idea of their dog being collected and dropped off, so if you'd prefer them to just head out of your front door for an adventure then that's absolutely fine by me! Dogs need stimulation and so I constantly vary my routes and destinations to make sure that each walk is as fulfilling as possible.

A collection and drop home service is included in the price you pay, using my spacious, air-conditioned van that is fitted with individual secured cages. You will notice that my van is not sign-written - this is intentional for the safety of your dogs. With dog theft on the rise, I would rather that my vehicle does not announce to everyone in the vicinity that I am carrying a very precious load! My windows are tinted to allow your dog to see out (many feel uncomfortable travelling in a panel van) and to prevent passers-by looking in.

My dog walks are adventures....your dog will have the time of their life which inevitably means they will sometimes get wet and muddy, but I carry a mobile dog washer with me at all times and all dogs will be towel-dried before returning home.

I carry water and collapsible bowls at all times, and tailor walks in the warmer months to make the most of shady spots with water to ensure your dog isn't getting uncomfortable in the heat.

I offer a free initial visit at a time and place to suit you, so that I can discuss with you exactly what you are looking for and your dog's specific requirements. Most importantly though, both you and your dog will have the opportunity to meet me and ask any questions that you may have.
